Hi Everyone,
I just want to let you know about an upcoming basket exhibit that will be showing my work. It is "Containers, Containment and Contents" presented by the Arts Council of Snohomish County and featuring work by members of Northwest Basket Weavers Guild and Northwest Designer Craftsmen. The exhibit runs Jan 9 - Feb 12, 2009, with an opening reception on Friday, Jan 9 from 5 - 8 pm. This exhibit is running in conjunction with an exhibit at the Bellevue Arts Museum called "Intertwined: Contemporary Baskets from the Sara & David Lieberman Collection". This is a traveling exhibit organized by the Arizona State University of Art, Tempe, AZ, which will run through March 22, 2009.

Your baskets are beautiful! I wonder if you would be interested in any natural materials that any of us may have - for instance I have lots of redtwig dogwood, and an abundanse of tall grasses.
